Without Words: Genesis (styled as GENESIS) marks Bethel Music’s fourth remix album, their eighteenth full-length release, and the third entry in the Without Words series. It came out on November 15, 2019, under the group’s own imprint label, with Seth Mosley and Lael handling production.
The album was announced on November 4, 2019, and follows two earlier instrumental collections: Without Words (2013) and Without Words: Synesthesia (2015). It contains remixed versions of twelve well-known worship songs and seven original interludes. Among the remixed tracks are Bethel Music staples like “Reckless Love,” “Stand in Your Love,” and “Raise a Hallelujah,” as well as songs from other contemporary worship artists, including Hillsong Worship’s “What a Beautiful Name” and Elevation Worship’s “Do It Again.” Joel Taylor, Bethel Music’s CEO, explained that the album’s soundscape is tied to the biblical story of Creation, aiming to create a space for listeners to rest in God’s presence and reflect on the wonder of the Creator.

Commercially, Without Words: Genesis debuted at No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Christian Albums chart for the week of November 30, 2019.
